FIRST IMPRESSIONS TEAM

First Impressions Team, like our name suggests, we aim to make our first impressions last, whether it be in the Car Park or the Front door.

We hope that what you get with our first impression leaves a lasting impression.

GREETERS

We always welcome you with a smile when you walk through our doors, and ensure that you have our latest information.  We are responsible for the welcoming and giving First Impression warmth to people who are attending our Services. We greet every person coming in our front and back doors, hand them a Newsletter, and assist them wherever possible.

 Our vision is To create a First Impression atmosphere of warmth and personal welcome providing a safe environment for people to feel included and become a part of our spiritual journey.


CAR PARK

We help you to arrive safely on the church property by assisting you to park your car.  We are responsible for the friendly and welcoming role of systematically directing vehicles to the appropriate and safe parking spaces around the Peninsula City Church property.

 Our vision is To create a First Impression atmosphere of warmth and personal welcome providing a 'safe' environment for people to feel important when they drive into our property and want to become a part of our spiritual journey.


SETUP

We ensure that everything is in readiness for each of our services, like making sure the heating is on in the middle of Winter.  We are responsible for the opening up of all property buildings and making ready for operation. We are also responsible for the setting out and removal of the chairs in the Auxiliary Room for the Morning Service.

 Our vision is To demonstrate an atmosphere of warmth and safety within our Facilities, serving with a glad heart, so that all will see our church is built on hearts willing and able to provide their time generously to serve.

 

HOSPITALITY 

We love to be able to serve you by providing Tea, Coffee and a biscuit.  Our responsibility is to set up the Auxiliary Room ready for a Hospitality time with Tea and Coffee after the Morning Service. This time is used to facilitate fellowship and to meet guests.

 Our vision is To create an atmosphere that reflects the love of Christ upon every person and to warmly welcome everyone into fellowship with one another.

 

SERVICE TEAM

We welcome you, help you to find your seat, welcome you when you're new to PenCC with a 'welcome pack'.  We just do whatever we can to service you.  We are responsible to receive the Offering and to distribute Communion at the appropriate time.

 Our vision is To demonstrate an atmosphere of serving with a glad heart, so that all will see our church is built on hearts willing and able to provide their time generously to serve.

 

USHERS TEAM

Wemeet people who enter the Auditorium and assist them to find their seating. It requires the team to be friendly, directive and responsive. Members are stationed around different parts of the Auditorium to help in the task of directing people to their seating. The Team also distributes guest packs at the appropriate time in the Service or at the direction of the Meeting Leader.

COMMUNION

Help with the preparation of communion prior to each of our services.
